My business is J. Nicholson & Sons at EdenForge, Kirkandrews on Eden, near Carlisle in Cumbria.

We are a Steel Fabrication, Metalworking and Agricultural Engineering firm, established by my
Grandfather, James Nicholson in 1912. After his day my Father and Uncle (the Sons) continued the
business, which then passed to myself, Bob Nicholson.

We provide a steel fabrication and repair service to the local farming community as well as
numerous Builders, Contractors, Local Authorities and, of course, the General Public.

Another of our lines is Wrought Ironwork, in the form of
Garden Gates, Railings, Seats, Arches, Weather Vanes, Name Plates, etc.

We also manufacture Security Grilles, Fire Escapes etc.
